A Fun Fall Festival
Last year, we attended the Fall Festival at a Providence Baptist Church. Because we had such a good time last year, we decided to go again this year.
Jonah went as Ironman and Elisabeth as a princess (of course).
Elisabeth rode a pony again this year, and, once again, Jonah didn't care to.
They both enjoyed the giant slide....
Kudos to Providence for putting on such a great event for the community.

Howling Halloween at East Regional Library
Jonah changed from a knight, to Darth Vader, and then settled on Safari boy before leaving the house. I guess the safari clothes were more comfortable. Elisabeth was a princess, of course.

A New Princess Costume
I scored a good deal on a two retired recital dresses that I found on Craigslist. They both have some minor flaws but the sparkle factor made them worth the money I paid. Elisabeth is super excited about dressing up for Halloween- she wants Jonah to be a knight - we'll see if he goes along with it!

Dress-up Time
Dress up is big around here these days especially with Elisabeth, but Jonah likes to join in at times too.
Elisabeth is usually a princess or fairy or something, while Jonah's costumes can be rather diverse. In this case, snow boots, ranger badge, sleeping bag back pack and safari hat make for a perfect park ranger.

Trick or Treat
This was the first year that the kids went Trick or Treating. I have to say, if we didn't live in an apartment complex, I'm not sure we would have gone. Management took out the guess work by giving out door hangers to put on your door if you were interested in giving out candy. I was only planning to take them to five or six doors, but we joined the family next door and ended up going to several more. Elisabeth got to choose between being a fairy princess or a dinosaur. (She chose the princess a few days ago for the apartment Halloween party.) Jonah had Kung Fu guy and a Storm Trooper to choose from and the Storm Trooper won out yet again. We have gotten a lot of mileage out of that costume. He wore it last year at Halloween and we used it as decoration for his "Star Wars" themed birthday parties.

My Fashionista!
My hubby just downloaded some pictures that I have texted him over the last months. This was a photo from a stop at Target a while ago. Elisabeth indicated that she wanted help trying on the hat. Once on, she promptly picked out a a purse to go with it. Girls are so fun!

Tunisian Attire
Olivia (Boppee) came over on Friday along with her mom and dad. Jonah and Olivia tried on their outfits from our recent trip. It made for quite a scene. Jonah looks like a drunk Shriner in a couple of these pictures.
